Comfort seats with memory function

The optional comfort seats with memory function are part of the seat concept that was specially developed for the luxury class and the Audi A8. An upper backrest adjustment function is integrated into the backrest of the comfort seats. This makes it possible to angle the top third of the backrest, to provide better support for the shoulders. Despite additional assemblies in the upper backrest, it has been possible to further increase rear knee room thanks to the seats' slim design. The seats also still have a lumbar support that can be adjusted in four directions, a memory function for both front seats, electrically adjustable head restraints and electric belt height adjusters. Like the standard seats that can be adjusted in eight directions, the comfort seats also have electric fore/aft, height, inclination and backrest angle adjustment. All front seat versions in the Audi A8 also have crash-activated head restraints to prevent injuries to the neck.

The switches for adjusting the seats are located in an easily accessible position on the side trim and can be operated intuitively. Optimum seat adjustment is therefore possible.

As well as basic and comfort seats, sport seats with memory function with increased lateral support are also available for the Audi A8.
