Performance from efficiency

The turbocharged TTS engine features the same FSI® technology that Audi has used in its string of victories in the Le Mans 24 Hour race. The 2.0T FSI* unit combines the benefits of direct petrol injection with those of turbocharging. The result is more power and higher torque, yet lower fuel consumption.

Re-engineered 2.0T FSI

The 2.0T FSI engine has been specifically re-engineered to suit the TTS. To reach a power output of 200 kW (272PS), features like the engine block, cylinder heads and injectors have been modified.

With its improved air intake and exhaust system, together with an optimised turbocharger, the TTS taps the full potential of Turbo FSI technology. The turbocharger produces an impressive torque of 350 Nm across a wide engine speed band from 2,500 rpm to 5,000 rpm. And, with the optional S tronic transmission, you can accelerate from rest to 62mph in just 5.2 seconds in the TTS quattro Coupé, and in 5.4 seconds in the TTS quattro Roadster, before reaching a top speed of 155mph (electronically limited).
