Portadown Audi Press releases in detail

Isaac Agnew Audi and Portadown Audi in association with the Strangford Lough Race Week held an Audi A8 Race Day for some A8 customers on Friday 20th July 2007. Customers met at Portadown Audi for light refreshments before setting off in a range of A8’s to Killyleagh Yacht Club where they were greeted by some other customers. The A8’s available to drive included the powerful S8 V10 quattro engine and the desirable A8 4.2 quattro SE Long Wheel Base.

On arrival at Killyleagh, customers boarded the St.Brendan boat and sailed out to meet the luxurious Cuchulainn yacht where they enjoyed watching the racing on the Lough and were also privileged to see seals and porpoises and other exciting wildlife. Lunch was provided on board and everyone was back on shore around 4pm. Thankfully, the weather was extremely good and the sun shone for most of the afternoon. Mr John Doran, one of the customers who attended the day commented “We thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially our time on board the yacht – you really know how to lay on a day trip in style.”

Customers were provided with dinner at Killyleagh Yacht Club before heading back to Portadown Audi to collect their own personal cars. Brian McCrory, A8 Specialist enthused “It was a day with a difference and customers really appreciated something different. It was also a great opportunity to let customers drive other variants in the A8 range.” Brian concluded “This was the first time Isaac Agnew Audi hosted such an event so it was very positive to hear such favourable comments from customers.”
