Superbike racing is one of the most exciting forms of motor sport in existence today and the British Superbike Championship (BSB) is widely regarded as the best national competition in the world. Using highly developed, production based machines that produce in excess of 200PS and are capable, in the right circumstances, of topping 200mph, the racing is close and skilful with overtaking aplenty.
Teams representing most of the major manufacturers are taking part in the 2007 championship and the riders compete in two races at each meeting, with the first 15 finishers scoring points towards the championship.
Keeping these rocketships in order takes a vehicle of exceptional ability, which is why Audi quattros have been chosen as pace and support cars for every British Superbike Championship since 1996.
In 2007 a pair of 420PS Audi RS4 quattros will be performing pace car duties, supported by other models from the Audi range.
