ESP with electronic cross-axle differential
The Audi A1 sporty driving dynamics are further enhanced by ESP with electronic cross-axle lock. Through targeted breaking, the ESP is able to re-allocate wheel torque, to ensure that torque is distributed according to the driving situation. This is known as torque vectoring.
This technology provides the driver with a more agile vehicle response, improved traction and better driving dynamics than in a vehicle without ESP and electronic axle differential. This results in a sportier drive, and more precise and smoother handling, with a greater level of safety when needed.
