Cruise control
The cruise control is an electronic aid that keeps the car moving at a constant speed. It reduces stress, particularly where speed limits must be observed and on long trips.
Adaptive cruise control
Adaptive cruise control build on the standard cruise control system. The benefits of this intelligent speed and distance control system are twofold. On the one hand, it provides a high level of comfort, especially on long journeys, whilst on the other it facilitates the full brake application function below 30km/h. Using a radar sensor to measure distance from the vehicle ahead, it controls speed and distance from 30 to 200km/h, and includes Audi braking guard which adds full brake application below 19mph.
Adaptive cruise control is also available as part of Technology package – Advanced
