Leaving your car at night can sometimes be hazardous – especially if you’re in an unfamiliar place. With coming / leaving home function, you can see your way is clear.
Leaving your car
When leaving the car in the dark, the front fog lights, taillights and number plate light remain on and only turn off after a specified time, which can be easily set up using the DIS (Driver’s Information System) or if fitted, the Multi Media Interface. This allows you to use the car’s lights to guide you to the front door of your house, for example.
Returning to your car
Similarly, when you unlock the doors remotely, the car’s interior and exterior lights switch on, so you can find your way to your car in the dark. Coming home / leaving home light technology is standard on all Audi S4 models.
