Adaptive headlights
The RS 5 comes with adaptive xenon headlights. To aid safety while driving at night, adaptive headlights improve the illumination of the road, including the side areas, making it possible to look farther ahead and anticipate possible hazards.
The ellipsoid module for the dipped and main headlights turns to match the course and the corners of the road using a calculation of road speed and steering angle. This means that more of the road is visible at all times.
The system is active from approximately 12mph.
