Perfect braking at the push of a button
By fitting the Audi S5 Cabriolet with an electromechanical parking brake, the space that would have been taken by a conventional handbrake lever is freed up allowing for extra storage.
The optional Audi hold assist function complements the electromechanical parking brake by stopping the vehicle rolling away unintentionally when stationary or when you’re pulling away on a hill. You don’t need to keep the brake pedal permanently pressed or activate the parking brake so, provided you’re wearing your seatbelt, you’re off to a smoother, safer start.
