Vorsprung durch Technik. Not just a slogan. A philosophy.
Translated as “progress through technology”, our famous brand statement encapsulates our ethos of continuous development. And that’s the idea behind our Network Partners Undergraduate Programme.
More than just a work placement, it gives students in their penultimate year of university the opportunity to take part in a full, year-long development programme, offering invaluable experience in our retail businesses and our head office.
Be part of the Audi network
With headquarters in Milton Keynes, Audi UK is part of the Volkswagen Group and is an importer of Audi vehicles. We’re responsible for the business strategy, sales and marketing of Audi cars in the United Kingdom. We oversee 131 franchises - showrooms and servicing outlets that we call Audi Centres. Also known as our Network, these are operated by 31 network partner companies. They are responsible for all aspects of our customer-facing business: from selling new and Approved used Audis, to service and maintenance, Audi Centres provide a seamless customer journey and deliver a premium retail experience.
What is the Audi network Partners Undergraduate Programme?
It’s your opportunity to represent our prestigious brand in a unique, 12-month work programme. You will be based at one of our Audi network partners across the UK, helping to implement business strategies to drive performance. Your personal development is at the heart of the programme: you will receive a structured development plan, exposure to a variety of business functions and excellent training opportunities throughout the year.
What we're looking for
The programme is aimed at students who have the skills and experience to add value to our company, as well as offering the potential to build a long-term career with us. As we are looking for strong academic achievements, you must be working towards a 2:1 in your degree. However, we also want well-rounded, ambitious people with plenty of motivation and a ‘can-do’ attitude. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK for 12 months from July 2019.
Invaluable experience from day one
Your year in our industry will be full of potential. From day one, you’ll be thoroughly immersed at the front line of our business, gaining a wealth of experience that you can apply to both your studies and your career after you graduate.
You will be part of a community of fellow undergraduates working together on development initiatives, such as your end-of-year showcase project at the Audi UK head office. Supported by both the Audi UK head office and your line Manager in your network partner Audi Centre, you will have the chance to develop key business skills in a variety of business channels and various training opportunities.
At Audi, we work towards common goals. That’s why we’ll pair you with an undergraduate buddy at Audi UK. As well as giving you a mentor, it will help you to work collaboratively with a colleague who can support you with various tasks throughout the year.
A future full of potential
The programme gives you invaluable exposure to a wide range of organisations both within and outside of our business. Our unique business model will help you to apply theories in practice – something that’s useful not only in your final year at university, but also in your future career path. You will also gain unrivalled experience in one of the biggest and most progressive industries in the world, putting you in an excellent position to further your career with Audi UK and our network once you have graduated.
And, after completing a successful year with one of our network partners, you’ll be presented with many career opportunities; from a role in the Audi network, to a place on the graduate programme available at our head office.
