Audi Connect Safety & Services

Audi Connect Online Safety and Service (“Safety and Service”) is available on certain models and is provided via a SIM card embedded in the vehicle.

Safety and Service features are available only within the range of the selected mobile phone network operated by Audi AG’s chosen mobile phone provider (which may change from time to time) and where there is mobile reception, including an active data connection.

You may not use the Connect Services and the embedded SIM for any purpose other than the provision or receipt of services in accordance with these terms.

Safety and Service comprises of:

1) myService:

The following myService features are available for 10 years after vehicle registration.

a) Emergency Call:

The service is designed to enable the vehicle to transmit relevant data including, but not limited to, the accident location and car status information to Audi AG and Audi’s European emergency call centre, in certain circumstances (subject to mobile reception and an active data connection). The service can be manually activated by pressing the SOS button located in the roof console or a call can automatically be placed if the vehicle detects an accident that, for example, has resulted in airbag and seat-belt tension activation. The call is placed via the vehicle’s embedded SIM card and there is no additional charge for this service or the calls made.

b) Online Roadside Assistance:

The service is designed to ensure that, when triggered by the customer, a call is placed via the vehicle’s embedded SIM card to the Audi Roadside Assistance centre along with the transmission of relevant data including, but not limited to, the vehicle’s location and status (subject to mobile reception and an active data connection). There is no additional charge for this service or the calls made.

Any data transmitted from the vehicle as a result of online roadside assistance being activated is only available to Audi Roadside Assistance for 24 hours after activation.

Audi Roadside Assistance is provided free of charge on all new Audi vehicles for their first three years from vehicle registration. Charges will apply upon renewal. For Audi Roadside Assistance terms and conditions please visit https://www.audi.co.uk/uk/web/en/owners/roadside-assistance-and-insurance.html.

Your online roadside assistance function will still be active if you have chosen another roadside assistance provider, as Audi Online Roadside Assistance will transfer the call to your chosen roadside assistance service provider (where you have provided the necessary details).

c) Audi Service Request:

In order to enjoy these services customers must register, accept the terms and conditions and follow the activation steps on MyAudi (please visit https://my.audi.com). As part of the activation process you will be requested to become a Primary Key User and select your Preferred Audi Centre. If you do not select your Preferred Audi Centre you will not be able to benefit from this service.

This service is designed to transmit service-relevant vehicle data and customer contact details via the embedded SIM card to Audi AG and the preferred Audi Centre chosen during registration on MyAudi (subject to mobile reception and an active data connection).

This data is used by the preferred Audi Centre to make contact and arrange an appointment.

2) myCarManager

These features are available for 3 years, activated from vehicle registration. Features vary by model. Please see individual model guides for details.
