Most installations are eligible for standard installation however, in some cases groundworks and additional upgrades may be required. Most UK homes have single-phased power, which enables a 7kW wall box to be installed, while larger homes with 3-phase power may be able to host a higher-powered wall box. What if Pod Point can't install a home wall box?
Sometimes, a home wall box isn’t suitable for your home, because wiring is unfit or because you don’t have off-street parking, for example. In these cases, we recommend you contact your local council, who may be able to install a charge point on your street. You can find a nearby charger using the Zap-Map app.

Further information on the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme can be found here (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/customer-guidance-electric-vehicle-homecharge-scheme/electric-vehicle-homecharge-scheme-guidance-for-customers).

The wall box must be ordered from PodPoint via a participating Audi Centre at the time of ordering your new Audi e-tron. Please request the offer at the time of order and the Audi Centre will assist you in placing your order for the wallbox with PodPoint. UK retail and fleet customers purchasing a new Audi e-tron from participating Audi Centres only. Please speak to your local Audi Centre for more information.

The free wall box included in the offer is a 7kW Pod Point Solo Universal wallbox with standard installation only. The availability of standard installation depends on various factors including the age and condition of the existing wiring at the property and the location of the nearest electricity point/meter. To find out whether you are likely to qualify for standard installation, please visit here (https://pod-point.com/standard-install-and-olev-terms-conditions). Standard installation is subject to survey.

Through the offer, Audi UK will meet the balance of the cost of a 7kW Pod Point Solo wall box with standard installation and after application of the full £350 government Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) grant only. Supply, installation and maintenance of the wall box will be subject to a separate contract between the customer and Pod Point. Neither Audi UK nor the Audi Centre can accept any responsibility in connection with that contract and any customer queries or claims must be directed to Pod Point. Customers will need to liaise directly with Pod Point in connection with survey and installation.

Any additional costs for example wall box upgrades, cable upgrades, non-standard installation, wallbox installations that do not qualify for the full £350 government Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) grant must be paid for by the customer.

Audi UK will only fund the remaining cost of the wall box after the £350 government EVHS grant has been applied. Eligibility restrictions and terms and conditions apply to the EVHS grant and may change from time to time – please see here (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/customer-guidance-electric-vehicle-homecharge-scheme) for details. For example, under the current terms, customers must own the vehicle for minimum of 6 months and have off street parking available to be eligible.

If a customer does not qualify for the EVHS grant at the time of order or if the EVHS grant scheme is withdrawn at any point (or available grant amounts change), then the £350 cost (or the balance of that cost) which would otherwise have been funded through the EVHS grant must be paid for by the customer.

Wallboxes are non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash or other alternative. However, Audi UK reserves the right to include a different wallbox and installation, of equivalent or greater value, within the offer.

If an Audi e-tron order is cancelled before installation, then the customer may no longer be eligible for the EVHS grant and Audi UK will not meet the balance of the cost of the customer's wallbox and standard installation. If an Audi e-tron order is cancelled after installation of the wallbox, then the customer may no longer be eligible for the EVHS grant and the customer will be liable to repay to Audi UK the fees paid by Audi UK and/or the applicable Audi Centre in connection with the wallbox and standard installation. This does not affect customers' statutory rights.
