For charging with alternating current, Audi recommends charging the high-voltage battery from industrial sockets, charging stations or a wallbox. As a result, you achieve higher efficiency and a significantly shorter charging time compared to charging at a domestic socket. Do not charge your vehicle with the mobile e-tron compact charging system in regular operation at household sockets, if a charging option is available at an industrial socket with alternating current (AC) or a public AC or DC charging station.
The charging power depends on the type of power connector used, the country-specific voltage and the number of available phases of the power grid and the customer-specific house installation. It can therefore be individually lower.
