Within system limits, the system uses radar sensors to detect vehicles pedestrians and cyclists in front. If an imminent collision is detected, the system warns the driver. The system may initiate emergency braking application (within system limits) in order to reduce the severity of the collision, or if possible, prevent an accident.

Vehicle driver assistance and safety systems are not a substitute for attentive driving. Drivers retain full responsibility for providing the necessary inputs for safe control of the vehicle.
