The variable ratio enables enhanced driving dynamics and ride comfort thanks to more direct steering characteristics (e.g. on winding intercity roads or when turning off) as well as reduced steering effort (e.g. during parking and manoeuvring). The integrated speed-sensitive steering assistance provides a precise steering feel at high speeds and considerable ease when parking. The basic setting (comfort/dynamic) can be selected via the Audi drive select.
