Performance and suspension

• Adaptive air suspension – RS Specific – electronically controlled air suspension with a stiffer adaptive damping system for all four wheels which regulates ride height and damping automatically. The ride height will vary depending on which Audi Drive Select mode is selected via the MMI system. Also includes loading level lowering (-65mm compared with auto) via additional buttons in the luggage compartment
• quattro® all-wheel drive with sport differential - permanent all-wheel drive with dynamic torque distribution. The electronically regulated Sport differential distributes variable amounts of driving force to each wheel ensuring improved acceleration performance when cornering, better steering characteristics and more agile handling
• RS Audi Drive Select - features 8 modes (Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-road, All-road, RS1 and RS2). These modes allow the driver to electronically adjust the engine, transmission and steering and air suspension. The individually configurable modes RS1 and RS2 can be easily accessed using the RS mode button on the steering wheel directly
• Electromechanical active roll stabilisation - for improved agility, ride and steering precision. During high speeds body roll is reduced, the car leans less in bends and the tendency to understeer is further reduced
• All Wheel Steering - Improves the driving dynamics and the driving comfort as a result of additional steerability of the rear axle. At lower speeds, the rear axle self-steers oppositely to the steering angle of the front axle. This results in higher agility and a smaller steering angle, making manoeuvring easier. At higher speeds, steering in the same direction improves the responsiveness, as well as the driving dynamics, cornering and vehicle stability

Driver assistance****

• Audi Pre-sense Front – monitors the traffic in front of the vehicle for potential collision hazards. The system provides multiple levels of driver support. The first is a warning signal, and the second a warning jerk caused by brief braking
• Lane departure warning -helps, within the system limits, to prevent unintentional departure from the lane. When the system is active and operational, and if the driver has not turned on the indicator, the lane departure warning performs corrective steering interventions to prevent the vehicle traversing from the lane. Operating range from approximately 37mph to a maximum of 155mph^******
• Parking System Plus with 360° degree display (front, rear and side sensors) - acoustic and visual park assist system for the 360 degrees of the car. Manoeuvring into and out of parking spaces can be actively controlled by pressing the >>P button. The vehicle steers, accelerates, brakes and switches off the system. The driver has to fully monitor this process. For even easier manoeuvring, the surround view cameras display a range of different views of the vehicle’s immediate surroundings directly on the touchscreen of the vehicle. Including manoeuvre assist. Park assist with parking system plus helps the driver to enter and exit parking spaces by means of suitable steering manoeuvres
• Rear-view camera – an image of the area behind the vehicle is shown on the MMI display, with dynamic display modes highlighting the calculated path (steer-angle dependent). The reversing camera is concealed in the handle strip of the luggage compartment lid
• Cruise control with speed limiter

• Head up display - The multicoloured head-up display is rich in contrast and projects driver information into the driver’s direct field of view
• Hold assist - holds the vehicle stationary for unlimited periods after stopping on typical uphill or downhill gradients. After activation, the brake is applied with the vehicle stationary until the accelerator pedal is used to pull away again
• Convenience key with sensor-controlled release of the luggage compartment lid, with Safelock - Open, close or start the engine without have to actively use the vehicle key. A foot gesture (kicking motion) at the rear is all it takes to release the luggage compartment lid

**Audi Smartphone Interface uses Apple CarPlay, which is available with iPhone 5 and above. Additional costs according to the terms of the mobile phone contract may be incurred when installing the Android Auto app. Availability of applications differs by operating system and is dependent on approval by Apple or Google. An up-to-date list of approved apps is available on the relevant systems’ websites. Permanent availability cannot be guaranteed as this is the responsibility of Apple and Google. Use of certain apps with Smartphone Interface will be subject to signal availability of the mobile network in your location and in-car usage may increase your mobile data usage.
