Blending a powerful conventional 1.4 TFSI petrol engine with an electric motor, the A3 Sportback e-tron has a combined power output of 204PS, with peak torque of 350Nm. This makes it one of the most powerful A3 models we’ve produced.

The A3 e-tron’s electric motor drivetrain is combined with a conventional TFSI engine so electric charging isn’t a ‘must’. However, the A3 e-tron can be recharged from a domestic plug socket, which fully charges in around
2.5 hours.

2 The New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) is a driving cycle designed to assess the emission levels of car engines and fuel economy in passenger cars. It is also referred to as the MVEG cycle (Motor Vehicle Emissions Group). The NEDC is designed to represent the typical usage of a car in Europe. It consists of four repeated ECE-15 Urban Driving Cycles (UDC) and an Extra-Urban driving cycle (EUDC).
