Interim Service

£159

Why you should service your Audi

Regularly servicing your Audi ensures it stays in top condition and keeps it running reliably and efficiently. On top of this, without regular checks, existing problems may go unnoticed which could result in increased repair costs.

Getting your Audi serviced means you'll get a stamp in your service book, which can affect your car's price if you sell it in the future.

The right service for you

You can have a Major or an Interim Service. Your Audi Centre will confirm the exact service required for your vehicle. View our Comparison table to understand the differences.

How often you get your Audi serviced depends on your driving style and the service schedule you use. Audi offer two service schedules; the fixed Inspection Service Schedule and the variable LongLife Service Schedule. Speak to a Service Advisor at your Audi Centre for more information.

MOT

£49.99

Why your Audi needs an MOT

An MOT test is a legal requirement. The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency requires all vehicles to meet a minimum safety standard.

Without regular safety checks you could be driving around in a vehicle that’s a risk to you and other road users. If you had an accident, your insurance policy could be void.

All cars over three years old need to have an MOT test every year.

What happens when Audi MOT tests your car

We will perform a comprehensive inspection of all major safety-related components, including checking the correct operation of their functionality. We will also perform an emissions test.

If your car needs any further work to pass the test, we'll ask you first and we'll only use Audi genuine parts, covered with a two-year parts and labour guarantee (excluding wear and tear items).

Front wiper blades

£39

Why your wiper blades need servicing

Blades are made of rubber, so they wear over time and become less effective.

If the wiper blades don’t make proper contact with the windscreen surface, you’ll get streaky or unwiped areas, which make it hard to see. It is also part of your MOT test to ensure your wiper blades are in good condition.

For safety, we recommend you check your wiper blades at least once a year.

What happens when we service your wiper blades

During a wiper blade test we check the wiper blades and if they are worn or broken we will let you know before replacing them for you. We only fit genuine Audi wiper blades, that are designed for your vehicle and the curvature of the windscreen to avoid lifting and/or noise.

Air conditioning service

£79

Why your air conditioning needs servicing

An air-conditioning system can lose up to 10% of its gas each year, which could mean your system becomes less able to keep you cool and refreshed.

If your air conditioning isn't regularly serviced, it could eventually fail which means that certain parts would need to be replaced. Regular servicing also helps to keep bacteria and odours at bay.

What happens when we service your air conditioning

We recommend servicing your air conditioning every two years. During an air conditioning service we'll drain and recharge the system, check hoses, filters, belts and connections, and make sure the compressor and condenser are working correctly. This will also help maintain the mechanical integrity of the system.

Our technicians will also give your air conditioning system an ultrasonic anti-bacterial and odour treatment, that eliminates microbial, fungal and bacterial contamination.

Cam belt

£439

Why your cam belt needs changing

The cam belt is a rubber-toothed belt that drives major parts of the engine and keeps everything synchronised.

Changing it prevents snaps, cracks and tears which, in turn, minimises the risk of major engine damage.

Your cam belt needs changing when it reaches the age or mileage limit recommended by Audi UK.

What happens when we service your cam belt

During a cam belt change we strip down the relevant components of the engine and renew the belt and cam belt tensioner. Then we reassemble the engine and road-test your vehicle before recording it in your service book.

We will also perform a complimentary health check of your vehicle. Our trained technicians will visually inspect the major safety related components of your car.

Clutch (non quattro)

£749

Why your clutch needs servicing

A clutch is needed to connect and disconnect the engine from the transmission and the drive train.

One part of the clutch uses friction to operate and over time this will wear. If your clutch is worn, then you might suffer poor take-up of drive from standstill or a judder.

The life of these items will vary on your driving style and also any loads placed upon the vehicle.

What happens when we service your clutch

Our Audi trained technicians will be able to perform a simple inspection to see if your clutch is performing correctly and advise accordingly. This inspection won’t take long and you’ll be advised of any costs in advance.

A clutch is normally made up by a number of items; usually this would be a friction plate, a pressure plate and a release bearing. All three components are required in good working order and should be replaced together.

Brake fluid change

£59

Why your brake fluid needs changing

Brake fluid must withstand operating temperatures of up to 230°C. Over time, the fluid absorbs water, making it less effective.

If too much water is absorbed, the brake fluid can boil while the brakes are being used. This seriously affects braking performance and can cause the braking system to fail. A spongy feel to the brake pedal shows this has started to happen.

What happens when we change your brake fluid

Brake fluid must be replaced at when your car is three years old, and every two years after that, irrespective of the mileage.

During a brake fluid change we check the level and look for leaks. We then drain the system and fill it with brake fluid that meets our high standards. We test the system and record it in your service book. Old brake fluid is disposed of responsibly.

Brake pads (rear)

£129

Why your brake pads need servicing

When you brake, the circular brake discs that rotate with the wheels are gripped by brake pads, causing the car to slow down.

If your brakes aren't maintained regularly, you won't be able to brake as efficiently. As well as reduced stopping power, worn or corroded brake parts can cause the car to vibrate and become noisy.

There's no set change interval but your brakes should be checked at least once a year for wear, warping and corrosion.

What happens when we service your brake pads

We'll replace your brake pads using only genuine Audi parts.

We will also perform a complimentary health check of your vehicle. Our trained technicians will visually inspect the major safety related components of your car.
