Flexible vs fixed service regime
Depending on your model there are two types of service regimes for our petrol, diesel and hybrid models which may be available for your Audi: flexible vs fixed.
- Your Audi Centre will be able to advise on the most suitable regime for you and your Audi.
- Whichever regime you choose, your MMI (Multi-Media Interface screen in your car) or the myAudi app can show you when servicing is due.
- The myAudi app can also notify your preferred Audi Centre to get in touch with you to book in for your service.
- Some items are not included in Oil and Inspection services and require replacement at specific times or distances such as: air filter, pollen filter (included in service plans), spark plugs, fuel filter, brake fluid, gearbox oil.
Flexible regime overview
The flexible regime for petrol and diesel vehicles works perfectly with our Smart Service plans which are designed to provide the most cost-effective option for you and your Audi.
- Oil Service based on oil degradation* but to a maximum of up to 18,600 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first
- Inspection Service every 18,600 miles/2 years, whichever comes first
The flexible regime is suitable for the vast majority of cars and is designed to be the most cost effective, but you may still prefer that your car is set to a fixed regime or it may not be eligible for the flexible regime. Please liaise with your Audi Centre. Smart servicing on a flexible regime is not available for all Audi models, please contact your local Audi Centre to discuss what is available for your vehicle and best suited for you.
*The oil change service is the flexible element as the car calculates the rate at which the oil degrades which is influenced by a number of factors, such as driving style, journey types and ambient temperature. The actual mileage achieved before the oil change service is required can be anywhere between 9,300 miles and 18,600 miles. For example, customers driving longer, motorway journeys or using lighter engine loads may require the oil change closer to the maximum mileage. An oil change service will be due after 2 years, irrespective of mileage, if it has not been completed earlier.
Fixed regime overview
- Oil Service every 9,300 miles/1 year, whichever comes first
- Inspection Service every 2 years or 18,600 miles, whichever comes first.
