The track is the most demanding of all tests. Advanced technology is developed to survive extreme forces, lap after lap. But it doesn't stop there. Our engineering expertise cascades seamlessly into the RS range.
Plug-in hybrid power. The all-new Audi RS 5 is the most direct expression of Audi's F1® programme on road. The first plug-in hybrid RS car, it’s driven by a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine paired with an electric motor, for a combined power output of 639 PS. The hybrid balance is inherited directly from the R26’s 50/50 split.
Regenerative braking. The RS e-tron GT's regenerative braking system is shaped by energy management algorithms developed for Formula E and refined in F1®.
