The 20-inch high-performance brake system with carbon-fibre-reinforced ceramic brake discs is noted for its outstanding deceleration figures. 

The ceramic brake discs are ventilated and perforated. Cooling channels specially developed for the brake discs improve the dissipation of heat during braking. Ceramic brake discs are also noted for their long service life and low weight. To underline the sporty character, the brake callipers are painted in gloss anthracite grey and bear the “Audi ceramic” logo.
