Interact with the new Audi A1
To be able to interact with the new Audi A1, you will need to download some software by clicking on the link below and following the installation instructions:
Once installed, you’ll need to print out the A1 "Magic Symbol" - a logo that has been specially encoded for use with augmented reality technology. You can do this by clicking on the link below. Alternatively, you can use the tear-out from the A1 price and specification guide. The more rigid the paper, the better the experience:
Once printed, you’re good to go.
- Set your webcam to optimum performance
- Hold the symbol up to your webcam, keeping it as flat as possible
- At this point, the A1 should appear on your screen
- Just move the symbol around from every angle
- You can also click the on-screen icons to add a panoramic sunroof, open the boot and doors, enabling you to explore the interior.
- Finally, you can take the A1 for a “virtual drive” using the arrow keys.
- Up / down to accelerate and reverse
- Left / right to steer - To reset the A1’s position at any time, just press “R”
