The Dualfix i-Size child seat is approved for use by children from birth up to a body length of 105 cm. The child seat with a 5-point belt system is securely fixed to the base and cannot be removed from it. A special feature of the seat is its 360 degree rotation. It can be easily changed from a forward facing position to a rearward facing position and back again without removing and reinstalling the seat, due to this feature. In addition the child seat can be turned towards the opened door when the vehicle is parked. The placing of the child in the seat and the removal of the child from the seat is therefore greatly eased. When underway the child seat must be positioned in the desired travelling direction (facing to front or rear) so that it securely engages.

The support bracket prevents the child seat toppling in an accident. This can also be adjusted up to 8 degrees to adapt it to the backrest of the vehicle seat. This provides 10 % more leg room when transporting in the rearward facing position. The Dualfix i-Size child seat is approved according to the regulation ECE R129/00 i-Size.
