Working within system limits, high beam assist automatically detects the headlights of oncoming traffic, the rear lights of other vehicles and light sources in built-up areas. Depending on the traffic situation, the main beam is automatically switched on or off. The system thereby improves visibility and enhances comfort and convenience.

The systems work only within system limits and provide assistance while driving. However, the driver remains responsible for driving the vehicle and is required to be attentive at all times.
